A Challenging International Career at the United Nations LawyerThe Government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) seeks qualified individual to fill the position of Lawyer in the Office of Administration Services, Chuuk State Governmnet. The Lawyer position os located in the Department of Administration Servives (DAS). The occupant of the position shall submit overall reports to the Administration of the Grant who is the Secretary, Department of Finance & Administration, FSM National Government. Administrative OfficerThe Government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) seeks well qualified individuals to fill the position of Administrative Officer in the Program Management Unit (PMU) within the FSM National Government, Office of the President. Position: Coordinated all administrative matters relating to the day to day opeations of the PMU; coordinate the preparation, formulation and justification of the unit's budget; represent the unit in meetings or conference as assigned; administer employee records, development, compensation and all other aspects of personnel administration; monitor and track status requests for payment, purchase orders, job orders, contracts, and invoices with the Department of Finance; insures the prompt and efficient processing of travel documents and vouchers; monitor and reconcile the unit's expenditures with finance reports from SBOC, Finance and OIA; maintain all office and contract files; performs other duties as assigned. Position: Advise the PMU concerning interpretation of law, rules, regulations; give legal opinions regarding the legal sufficiency of contracts; draft and formulate contracts; assist in the review of rules and regulations regarding implementation of infrastrcutire sector grants and the development plam; advise with respect to prosecuting or defending lawsuits and legal rights and obligations relative to PMU; in coordination with the Department of Justice, represent the PMU and its employees in court and before government agencies; liaison with State IPIC to assit with legal aspects of project development within the State; performs other duties as assigned.
