 JICA offers training for interested FSM citizensPalikir, POHNPEI (FSMIS) - The Department of Foreign Affairs invites interested citizens from the Federated States of Micronesia to apply for a training opportunity with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). According to the invitation, the training will be on the "Application of Information & Communication Technology to Production & Dissemination of Official Statistics". Scheduled for from May 7 - July 13 2006, the training will be held in Japan at the United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply at the JICA Offices in each of the states or the Embassy of Japan through the FSM Foreign Affairs Office not later than April 7, 2006.
