SNLC Officials Working Group Meeting

Palikir, Pohnpei (FSM Information Services): January 27, 2012 - Officials from all the five governments of the Federate States of Micronesia attended the State and National Conference (SNLC) Officials Working Group meeting on January 26 at the Central Facility Meeting Room at the National Government Compound in Palikir, Pohnpei State.

The purpose of the working group is for the governments, through their representatives, to identify and discuss issues and agree on recommendations for presentation to the FSM Leadership during the SNLC.

A provisional agenda for the conference has been prepared by the SNLC Secretariat, the FSM Department of Resources and Development, drawing from issue statements pre-submitted by the States and the National Government upon request. The representatives are tasked to refine the formulation of topic discussions for leaders and create a working platform toward ensuring a clearly focused conference.

The Working Group will meet from January 26 through 30, concluding before the leaders start arriving on January 31.
