FSM Social Security week, July 5-9Palikir, POHNPEI (NORMA/FSMIS): July 9, 2004 - The Federated States of Micronesia Social Security Administration, today, wraps up its weeklong campaign on "Educating and Ensuring Future Security for all Working Citizens." In commemoration of the programs 36th Anniversary, the Administration launched a public education campaign in all four states from July 5th thru 9th, during which each Branch office visited the government offices in their respective states, followed by meetings with the private sector all in an effort to improve the public's knowledge and understanding of the program. A visit to President Joseph J. Urusemal, Vice President Redley Killion and the other two Branches of the National Government kicked-off the public education in Pohnpei. Key members from the Administration detailed the various services and assistance offered through FSM Social Security program. The weeklong campaign concluded with a visit to the Pohnpei State Government. Since its establishment on July 1 1968, the FSMSSA continues its commitment of ensuring future security for the working population.
