PATA Micronesia Chapter 1^st Quarter Meeting

PALIKIR, Pohnpei (FSM Information Service): September 12, 1997 - The Pohnpei Tourism Office is hosting the Micronesia's Chapter of the Pacific Area Travel Association (PATA), which is holding its First Quarter Meeting here in Pohnpei from September 10^th to the 12^th, according to distributed conference documents.

Scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, September 10^th, and continuing on Thursday morning September 11^th. On Thursday afternoon will be a Forum Luncheon.

Following the luncheon is a Committee meeting to which invited participants to include 25 in Marketing, 10 in Education, five in Chapter Affairs, 15 in Information and Technology and five is Special Project.

Thursday evening, a welcome dinner is scheduled to be held at Cliff Rainbow, to be sponsored by Pohnpei Visitors Bureau. Welcoming remarks will be given by the President of Pohnpei Visitor's Bureau, Yalmer Helgenberger.

On Friday, September 12, 1997, at 9 a.m. the general membership Meeting will convene at Cliff Rainbow's Across the Street Restaurant with an opening remark by Governor Del Pangelinan.
