President Mori to Head FSM Delegation to UNGAPalikir, Pohnpei (Foreign Affairs): September 18, 2007 - President Mori departs the Federated States of Micronesia for New York to attend the Sixty-Second Special Session of the United Nations General Assembly which commences on September 25, 2007. There President Mori will participate with world leaders in a general debate and deliver the FSM Government's statement before the UNGA, his first appearance in addressing the international community on issues of interest for the Nation. President Mori is also expected to attend a high-level meeting on climate change to be held on September 24. There he will also make an intervention on the issue of climate change where he will be highlighting FSM's views and concerns on the topic. President Mori is accompanied by Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Honorable Lorin Robert, President's Chief of Staff Sabino Asor, and R&D Consultant Mr. Akillino Susaia. |
