 New Pohnpei Shopping Center Set for ConstructionPalikir, POHNPEI (FSM Information Service): November 30, 2007 - Pohnpei Shopping Center breaks ground as Officials, businessmen and families gathered to witness. A small crowd of businessmen most especially families and friends of Madam Agnes Etscheit as well as a couple traditional figures got together last Tuesday, November 20, 2007 to join President Manny Mori and Governor Johnny David and Iso Nahniken of Nett to witness the ground breaking ceremony of the New Pohnpei Shopping Center at Pohn Mpwoampw in Nett Municipality. President Mori who addressed the gathering congratulates Madam Agnes Etscheit for her hard work with the Etscheit family by which another big step is taken, the ground breaking of a new shopping center. And thanked Agnes and the Family for inviting him to the ground breaking celebration. He added that his presence in the ceremony speaks to the importance his administration attaches to the private sector developments. And encouraged the private sectors to play their role and win the government with pledge to give its support to ensure that development is sustained. Iso Nahniken Iriarte assured Agnes in His Royal degree that the Traditional Leaders of Nett will welcome and accept this project to be established and prosper in Nett, and may the project be protected from all curse but to bring wealth and prosperity to Pohnpei. |
